Open the Alexa App on your Phone → Tap on More → Select Activity → Swipe Left to View Voice History → Select the Date and Device to Categorize.

If you have an Amazon Alexa or Echo device then you should be knowing that Alexa always listens to you. Provided the device is powered on and not muted. Whenever you call it by name or the wake word you have set it will record the things said by you.

So the same thing will be recorded and stored on the Amazon Cloud. I don’t know the exact reason why Amazon stores the voice history of the Echo devices. But when I look into my voice history I see that my recordings of last year also. This might be done to train the AI.

Follow the instructions given below to check your voice history. If you have linked all your echo devices to your Amazon account. Then you can find the history of all the devices in the same account. You can change the time period of the name of the device to find the right recording you want to delete or give feedback for.

  1. Open the Alexa app on your smartphone.
  2. Tap on More.
  3. Select Activity from the More section of the App.
  4. The Activity tab will be opened.
  5. Swipe left to go to Voice History.
  6. Tap on Displaying.
  7. Select the date to filter the recordings.
  8. Choose the echo device.
  9. And the voice history of the selected device will be displayed to you.

There is a small like and dislike button in the history section of the app. This is used to give feedback if Alexa did what you had told her to do.
